Daily Pre-Start Inspection

Complete before the first start of each shift and again after transport or relocation.

Position & cooling airflow

Park level, secure the support leg and keep the rear upwind and away from walls or dirty exhaust air.

Act if: the unit is unstable or hot air can recirculate.

Engine oil & coolant

Check engine oil on the dipstick and check the radiator top tank only when cool.

Act if: oil is below safe range, coolant is low, leakage is visible or the system is hot.

Compressor oil level

Depressurize first; the compressor oil level gauge pointer must remain in the green range.

Act if: the pointer is outside green range or oil is foamy or contaminated.

Fuel level & fuel filter drain

Confirm sufficient diesel and drain fuel-filter water or sediment until clean fuel flows.

Act if: fuel is insufficient, contaminated, leaking or clean fuel does not flow.

Air receiver condensate

With all pressure released, drain condensate. Close when oil appears and refit the drain plug.

Act if: pressure remains, the drain is blocked or abnormal water or debris is found.

Empty dust traps, check housings and reset the vacuum indicator after service.

Act if: dust reaches the safety element or the yellow piston reaches the red service range.

Outlet hoses, valves & safety cable

Use pressure-rated hoses, secure the outlet end with a safety cable and keep outlet valves closed for connection and starting.

Act if: hose is cut, frayed, loose, leaking or being connected while pressurized.

Confirm guards are fitted, doors close and the panel self-test shows working gauges and circuits.

Act if: a guard is missing, a door cannot close or any warning circuit is not functioning.
