Daily Pre-Start Inspection

Complete from ground level through the control station before every shift.

Wind reading

Read the maximum gust at crane top; apply a lower limit for loads with wind area above 1 m²/t.

Act if: gust reaches 72 km/h, the applicable lower limit is reached, or no reliable reading is available.

Ballast

Confirm foundation ballast is present, correctly positioned and fixed for the installed configuration.

Act if: any block is displaced, loose, damaged or missing. Do not operate.

Power cable and earthing

Check routing, support, sheath condition, connections and reliable earthing.

Act if: damaged, loose, exposed or poorly earthed. Isolate electrical power.

Rail-travelling base
